Willi Hahn
It was probably this kind of insight that inspired Willi Hahn to establish his enterprise 80 Years ago. From a small family-run business for nuts and bolts, the company has evolved into one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional hand tool solutions with locations around the globe. Headquartered in Schonach in the Black Forest region of Germany, the renowned enterprise celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2019.
Three generations of ownership since our founding in 1939: Willi, Wilfred, and Wilhelm Hahn.
Willi Hahn founded Wiha Tools in 1939 in Wuppertal, Germany. The company had to be relocated to Schonach in 1943 due to WWII destroying the factory. Wilfred Hahn, the second generation of Hahn's, continued to grow and mature the company, building a global network of subsidiaries in the US, Europe, and Asia. Since 2012, Wilhelm Hahn has taken the executive seat in leading the company.
